Prime Minister Narendra Modi Reached Bhutan

Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India is on a two-day visit to Bhutan to promote friendship and to hold bilateral talks between the two countries. Leading by the Bhutanese Prime Minister Lotay Tshering, he was welcomed warm-heartedly and received a guard of honor at the Paro International Airport and, in addition, at Thimphu Tashi Choe Dzong. Then he visited Simtokha dzong where he even gave a speech. Simtokha dzong (fortress monastery) was the first dzong built by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal in 1629.

The only Bhutan's TV channel, BBS went live and caught the eyes of many viewers. People were extremely overjoyed by the PM Modi's visit. It's a great blessing to honor as the two countries' relationship further strengthened. This is PM Modi's second visit to Bhutan.

Narendra Damodardas Narendra Modi, a Hindu nationalist was born on 17 September 1950 to a family of grocers in Vadnagar, Mehsana district, Gujarat (before Bombay) State. He is the Prime Minister of India since 2014. He also served as the Chief Minister of Gujarat from 2001 to 2014. He is a Member of Parliament from Varanasi.
